Remember, weighted predictions are in place, where every fixture has a total of ten points assigned to it and is split across the two teams with more points assigned to the underdogs. Users will also be awarded the full ten points for nailing a draw!

Here is a quick break-down of all seven Super League games taking place in Round 1, as well as their predictor weightings…

1350 PAGE 1

York Knights v Hull KR

This will be the first ever Super League match for York Knights, who will become the 24th different side to participate in the competition and the first new one since Toulouse Olympique in 2022.

Current champions Hull KR are the team to beat in 2026 and won 24 of their 29 Super League games last season - going on to win their first Super League title at the end of the campaign and sealing a historic treble.

The Robins have won each of their last three Round 1 fixtures, their longest ever such run, however, their opening victory last season only came by a single point (19-18 versus Castleford Tigers).

Of course, the reigning champions are heavy favourites to win the season opener on Thursday, although newly promoted York Knights will be up for challenge…

Weighted predictions: Knights (9 points), Robins (1 point)

Catalans Dragons v Huddersfield Giants

There are two teams hoping to improve massively in 2026, with the predictor weightings evenly divided for their fixture in Perpignan this Friday!

The Giants are the first team to make the trip to the south of France this season. Waiting for them are Joel Tomkins’ newly looking Dragons who finished the 2025 campaign on a more positive note, winning their final three matches…

Weighted predictions: Dragons (5 points), Giants (5 points)

Warrington Wolves v St Helens

A Friday night feast continues with Warrington Wolves and St Helens going head-to-head in Round 1. It’s a fixture that never disappoints.

Saints were the higher finishers in 2025, but it’s the Wolves have won each of their last five Super League games against their opponents after losing seven in a row against them previously.

Will we witness a classic at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, and who do you fancy to win?

Weighted predictions: Wolves (6 points), Saints (4 points)

Leigh Leopards v Leeds Rhinos

An enticing clash is in store when Leigh Leopards host Leeds Rhinos for their opening game, and for Friday's third offering.

The Rhinos have won 11 of their previous 13 Super League games against the Leopards, including all four of their meetings across the last two seasons.

Three of those four victories came by single-digit margins, however, so a close contest almost definitely on the cards!

Hence the equally split predictions!

Weighted predictions: Leopards (5 points), Rhinos (5 points)

Bradford Bulls v Hull FC

The Bulls are back and they’ll travel to face the Black & Whites in Round 1!

This will be the first Super League meeting between Hull FC and Bradford Bulls since August 2014, when the Bulls recorded a 34-28 home win.

Hull FC have won four of their last seven Super League home games after going winless in 10 previously. Will they be able to improve their home record in 2026?

Meanwhile, Bradford return to the competition after a 12-year absence as the fourth most successful team in the competition’s history, having won four titles (1997, 2001, 2003, 2005).

Weighted predictions: Hull FC (3 points), Bulls (7 points)

Wakefield Trinity v Toulouse Olympique

This will be just the fourth Super League fixture between Wakefield Trinity and Toulouse Olympique, with the French side having won each of their last two meetings after Trinity emerged victorious in their first.

They did, however, last meet in the 2024 Betfred Championship Grand Final, in which Wakefield were comfortable 36-0 victors.

The DIY Kitchens Stadium is a fortress for Trinity, with the West Yorkshire side having won eight of their last 10 Super League home games, with another bumper home crowd about to be in attendance for Saturday’s showdown.

This is Olympique’s second stint in the Super League, since their relegation in 2022. They have since been Championship high-flyers.

The Super League team are favourites in this one, but will you take a risk with the newly promoted? Backing Toulouse could earn you eight points in Predictor if they manage to pull off a shock win!

Weighted predictions: Trinity (2 points), Olympique (8 points)

Castleford Tigers v Wigan Warriors

Wigan Warriors have won each of their last 12 Super League games against Castleford Tigers, including the most recent by 56 points (62-6 in September 2025), the largest victory by either team in this fixture.

That said, the Tigers are rejuvenated under new head coach Ryan Carr and will be looking to give a good account of themselves on home soil.

Which team will start their season in style?

Weighted predictions: Tigers (8 points), Warriors (2 points)
